WEB.DE enters into a comprehensive eCommerce agreement with paybox.net AG, associated company of Deutsche Bank AG
Karlsruhe-based WEB.DE AG, operator of the Internet portal WEB.DE, one of the leading Internet services on offer in Germany, enters into its largest eCommerce agreement to date with paybox.net AG, Wiesbaden. Within the scope of this agreement, WEB.DE integrates the new mobile phone payment method 'paybox' into the Internet portal WEB.DE.
At http://paybox.web.de WEB.DE shortly provides secure settlement of payment transactions for eCommerce orders via mobile phone. WEB.DE is also planning to integrate 'paybox' as a payment method into its own eCommerce platform which is to be introduced in autumn.
The integration of the innovative payment method in WEB.DE enables paybox.net AG to reach over 4 million WEB.DE users and 1.4 million registered WEB.DE customers with its product.
With this agreement, WEB.DE AG has now really started its Market Reach commercialisation Strategy. Indeed, most e-commerce companies are well financed but lack the crucial Market Reach for a successful internet business.
